Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams provides a single stop for conversations, meetings, notes and files to be shared among all the team members. With its complete integration with Microsoft 365 and ease of integration with other Microsoft and third-party tools, it offers an ideal, easy and quick collaboration platform for a team spanning across geographies and cultures.

A team is a collection of people, tools and content within an organization that centers around different organizational jobs or projects.

Channels allow its teammates to have focused conversations related to specific topics. Every team has a ‘General' channel that cannot be removed. Besides this, team members in a team can decide to have own set of channels for their team that can be devoted to specific projects, locations, initiatives or even ideas. Every channel in a team is completely public to all its team members.

Teams Channels are where every team member can have open conversations. These conversations are public to all the team members in that team. On the other hand, private chat are visible to the people participating in the chat.

With Microsoft Teams, it's possible to make direct one-on-one or group calls without hosting a meeting.

Team meetings offer its members a quick and easy way to conduct an impromptu meeting without a meeting room or projector. Anyone from the team can join this meeting that can include screen sharing, audio and video.
